Based on the novel by Stephen King MISERY is the story of a romance novelist and his number one fan. When Paul Sheldon has a serious car accident, he is lucky enough to be rescued by his number one fan, Annie Wilkes. Or is he? Come join us because Misery loves company.

The Character Breakdown is:
Annie Wilkes – Female identifying, 35-50
Gruff but caring, cruel, self-righteous while child-like and naïve.
Physical role – requires moving furniture and bodies.
Paul Sheldon – Male identifying, 35-50
Charming in an arrogant way, can beg when to his benefit, needs to play terror and pain
Physical role – work wheelchair, drag lower portion of body around
Buster – any gender identifying, 25-45
Affable, gullible, naive
Physical role – needs to die on stage and be physically dragged off.
Asking that actor help with stage crew duties.
