The Odd Couple
by Neil Simon
Directed by Larry Jones
Assistant Director Karintha Touton

Produced by Christine Joëlle
November 7 – December 13, 2008
The Odd Couple is truly a pop culture phenomenon. Simon's wildly successful play ran from 1965 to 1967, and in 1968, the play was made into a successful film starring Walter Matthau as unkept sports writer Oscar Madison and Jack Lemmon as anal-retentive commercial photographer Felix Unger. Gary Marshall and Jerry Belson produced the series on television, which debuted on ABC in September 1970 and starred Jack Klugman and Tony Randall as Oscar and Felix, with both actors winning Emmy awards for their roles. In all its forms, The Odd Couple has become a true American comedy classic.
