This exciting retelling of the familiar fairy tale is full of laughter as Goldilocks is brought to court to face charges of breaking and entering the Bears’ cottage. After the judge calls the court to order, the clerk presents the traditional story. Then the lawyers take over to present their sides of the case. This rollicking enactment has the jury playing tables, chairs, beds, and forest animals. But is Goldilocks guilty or innocent? Was the young girl a selfish, spoiled brat, intruding where she didn’t belong? Or was she the victim of the three conniving bears and their “band of hoods” in the woods? What will the jury decide? |
