The
Emperors New Clothes, by Blance Marvin plays on
Saturday afternoons at 2 PM on March 18, March 25, and

and produced by Charlotte Lee Schildkret, "The Emperor's
New Clothes" is a classic children's story about
why it is important to always tell the truth, even though
it is not always the easiest or most popular thing to
do. And if vanity gets in the way of making the right
decision, the results can be very embarrassing and comical.
Presented with much humor, music, song and dance, this
interactive entertainment is perfect for the entire family:
children, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and
friends. Come join in the fun at the Emperor's Court and
enjoy the performances of Jeffrey Culp as the Lord-Minister
of War, Christy Lee Engels as Lady Caroline, Hal Fisher

Just
wanted to let you know that Company opens in 2-1/2 weeks.
I'm directing, Jon plays Robert, and we have lots of friends
in the cast and crew. It's a good show and I want to encourage
you all to come. I've enclosed a flyer for the show. As
an enticement, we are hosting a party at our house after
the Sat. March 11th show. You're all invited. Even if
you don't see the show that night, please try to come
afterward. Call Jon's cell (310-529-3890) to RSVP and
to make reservations for the show. (We don't trust the
theater's reservation office.) I hope to see you all soon!
Dave
Parke has been cast in the leading role of Dan Chandler
in an original play entitled Junebug Versus Hurricane,
written by Erin Chandler, the granddaughter of Happy Chandler,
twice the governor of Kentucky and was the baseball commissoner
who let Jackie Robinson play in Major League Baseball.
The play opens April 9, 2006 at The Lost Theater, 130
La Brea, Hollywood. According to Dave, Happy's wife was
in the theater when the show was cast and thought Dave
was perfect casting for her husband! Dave said the casting
was done by well know Hollywood casting agent Lisa Pantone.
He also said the last cast at this theater, not only did
the play, but also did the movie, which was cast and filmed
after the play closed! See Dave for tix and times.
