Jake’s first performance at Kentwood was as the M.C. in Cabaret and his last assignment for the theater was co producer with Ed Cotter for The Rainmaker. Jake will be sorely missed by all of his friends.

More News

9/19/05
Just wanted to let you know that Mom (Jean Jenkins) fell at the ranch where we keep our horses last Wednesday, 9/14, and broke her right femur in what is called a 'spiral fracture' due to her having the prosthesis in her femur bone from her hip replacement.  She underwent surgery to repair it on Thursday, and all went very well.  The doctor put in a plate that extends from her knee to about 3/4 of the way to her hip, and he also put in 6 cables to bring the bone back together.  He said that this is a rare surgery, and she'll be laid up for no less than 3 months.  By the time this comes out in the bulletin, she will be home.  Right now, she is being transferred to the rehab center that works with the hospital.  Her spirits are up and down at this point in time. Diane

Diane emailed the following day to say Jean is doing very well.
